Prayer Focus
Give thanks for the success of this daring mission that destroyed a production site of weapons that would have been used against Israeli citizens. Give thanks also that none of the fighters who took part in this raid were hurt or injured and returned safely to Israel. Pray that any other weapons-producing sites will also be discovered and destroyed.

Scripture

Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; defend me from those who rise up against me. Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloodthirsty men.

Prayer Focus
Continue to pray for Israel’s leaders, especially Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Katz, as they navigate the difficult situation in Gaza. Pray that they will be like the sons of Issachar who “knew what Israel ought to do.” Pray that they will not give in to the intense pressure of the world bodies such as the UN, EU and individual countries like the United States, Egypt and Qatar, but will instead keep their eyes focused on the need to ensure Israel’s security.

Prayer Focus
Continue to pray fervently for the release of the remaining captives still being held hostage in Gaza, while also giving thanks for Ori’s miraculous rescue. Pray that each one who remains a hostage will cling to faith in God, the only thing able to truly sustain them during their captivity. Just as He cares for the sparrow, He is aware of the suffering and pain of those held captive.

Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young—even Your altars, O LORD of hosts, my King and my God.

Prayer Focus
Pray that any hidden motives of al-Sharaa will be revealed clearly and convincingly for the whole world to see. Pray for Israel’s leaders to have discernment and to make wise decisions regarding the nation of Syria, which has yet to recognize the legitimacy of the State of Israel. Pray for the Church in Syria to have freedom to share the Gospel.

Prayer Focus
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, the city that God has chosen. Proclaim His promise that He will defend and preserve Jerusalem. Pray as well for the protection of the Land of Israel from all its surrounding enemies.

Prayer Focus
Pray for an awakening at the United Nations as Israel’s ambassador has clearly pointed out their hypocrisy of silence when Israel is attacked and condemnation when Israel defends itself. Pray that this speech will be seen as an opportunity to turn from standing against God’s chosen people into one of support or at least neutrality.

Prayer Focus
Give thanks for each one of the students and teachers who are investing themselves in the future defense of Israel. Pray that their time of preparation will set a firm foundation for their future contributions to Israel’s intelligence gathering organizations. May they learn that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge (Prov. 1:7a).

Prayer Focus
Give thanks for this report of the number of terror attacks that were planned but prevented before they could be carried out. Pray the Israel’s internal security forces will continue to have the information they need in order to protect citizens from harm. Pray that each member of the security forces will remain alert to potential dangers.

Prayer Focus
Pray for the recovery of those who were wounded in this act of terrorism and for the comfort of those whose loved ones were killed. Pray that global leaders will become aware that the battle Israel is fighting against Islamic jihadists is the same battle that is spreading to their own countries and they share a common enemy.
