Keeping the Lights On

Electricity costs skyrocket in the winter months. Since Israel has long, hot summers, most apartment are built to keep their occupants cool during the scorching heat. However, the downside is that these cool apartments become ice boxes in winter. In a bid to stay warm during the cold, rainy months, gas and electricity bills almost double. Your gift will go toward assisting the Holocaust survivors on our program cover the utility bills they cannot afford to pay themselves.

Keep Them Warm

Give generously so that we can provide new, thick and warm blankets to the recipients on our program. We also receive requests for new space heaters to replace those that have worn out and are longer functioning. Your gift will be used to make sure our Holocaust survivors are warm this winter.

Feed Them

We continue to provide food every month to the Holocaust survivors on our food program. Your additional donation toward food will allow us to increase our supply to current recipients, and even enable us enlarge our tent to provide to other needy Holocaust survivors who are not currently on our program.

Heal Them

During the winter months, many Holocaust survivors have to make tough decisions on how to spend their meager finances. Although Israel has national healthcare, some medications and expenses are not covered. In winter, many of our Holocaust survivors spend more on heating, which means a significant gap in their budgets that leaves them unable to pay their medical bills. Your gift will be used to help those in financial difficulty cover their medical expenses.

Give Them Hope

Apart from supporting Jewish people in Israel, we also come to the aid of needy Jewish people in the former Soviet Union countries. Many elderly Jewish people cannot immigrate to Israel because of their advanced age or ill health, so we meet them where they are to offer assistance of food and care. Our project Tikvah Fund is a vital source of hope for those less fortunate in areas where the winters are particularly brutal. Gifts to this fund will be used to buy food and run soup kitchens to support these precious ones.

Greatest Need

Your gift will be used to assist us in continuing to fulfill our mission of building relationships between Christians and Jews. We accomplish this through our numerous humanitarian projects in Israel as well as our educational endeavors in Israel and around the world. We are called to be a blessing to Israel.
